Classiest Friday Night Ever

Students at MIT can get free tickets to the Boston Symphony Orchestra on certain dates. Taking advantage of this, I saw them perform Messiaen, Boulez, and Berlioz, which to my understanding were all French composers. The first part was sounded like something modern with obnoxiously loud gong-clashes. The second two pieces included the string sessions, which I enjoyed more. To be honest, I dosed off once or twice.
